Watch the latest FIFA World Cup 2022 official soundtrack, "Light the Sky" which includes Nora Fatehi

The newest song's music video, titled "Light The Sky," stars Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi, who has acted in numerous Indian films in the languages of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Balqees, an Emirati-Yemeni singer, makes an appearance and sings the song. The song has no apparent connection to the tournament, yet it makes for a great party song. It is the fourth single off the soundtrack, following The World is Yours to Take, Arhbo, and Hayya Hayya (Better Together), with more to come before the tournament begins on November 20.

This song features the vocal talents of Fatehi, Balqees, Iraqi sensation Rahma Riad, and Moroccan award-winning singer-songwriter Manal.

"Football, like music, has a passionate following and is a worldwide language, as I have personally seen wherever I have travelled in the world. It has been an honour to work with such dedicated and creative women to produce something that honours our heritage and the thrill of the FIFA World Cup, said Fatehi.

The music video honours the historic decision to have female referees for the Middle East's first World Cup. In Qatar, matches will be overseen by Stéphanie Frappart from France, Salima Mukansanga from Rwanda, and Yoshimi Yamashita from Japan. Neuza Back from Brazil, Karen Daz Medina from Mexico, and Kathryn Nesbitt from the United States will serve as assistant referees. They are all featured in this song video.

According to FIFA entertainment executive and song producer RedOne, "Light The Sky tells us to 'shout if you're with me' and brings to life the spirit of collective celebration of the FIFA World Cup - an energising message as we look forward to a game-changing tournament of firsts."

"This is a Middle Eastern-inspired song with strong Middle Eastern roots. It is also appropriate that this album, which will appeal to sports and music fans of all ages, features the first-ever female referees in a FIFA World Cup."
